Patrick Desproges, Chief Executive Officer

Patrick is responsible for defining and executing the business strategy of IWEDIA. Patrick has spent his entire career in the field of new technologies, telecommunications, and digital television, and has 20 years’ senior management experience in technology companies. Within the digital television industry, Patrick was CEO of Thales Broadcast & Multimedia from 1994 to 2002. From 2003 to 2006 Patrick ran IPRICOT a telecom company funded by Venture Capitalists which he turned around and sold to an industrial firm. He became Chairman then CEO of IWEDIA in 2006. Patrick earned an engineering degree in electronics at Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité (a.k.a. Supélec) a graduate school of engineering in Paris, France.
Jean-Jacques Hennin, joint founder and Chief Technology Officer

Jean-Jacques is responsible for bringing the vision and defining the technology strategy of both IWEDIA Middleware and IWEDIA Services. Jean-Jacques has over 15 years’ technology experience related to multimedia software products, making him an authority in technology trends. Before participating in the launch of the IWEDIA venture in 2004, Jean-Jacques held senior technical management positions at technology companies Teamlog DMS, Teamlog and Aristel. Jean-Jacques earned an engineering degree in Computer Science at ESEO, an engineering school in Angers, France.
Dominique Villotte, joint founder and Managing Director
IWEDIA Services
Dominique is responsible for defining the IWEDIA Services offering and for the overall management of the business unit’s growth strategy. Dominique has over 15 years’ sales and business development experience related to engineering services delivery in the field of multimedia software. Before participating in the launch of the IWEDIA venture in 2004, Dominique held senior sales management positions at technology companies Teamlog DMS, Teamlog and Alcatel. Dominique earned an engineering degree in Computer Science at INSA, an engineering school in Rennes, France.

Hervé Creff, VP Product Marketing and Product Development
IWEDIA Middleware
Hervé is responsible for defining and executing the IWEDIA Middleware product offering. A veteran in the digital television field, Hervé has over 20 years’ product marketing and product development experience related to multimedia software technologies. Before joining IWEDIA in 2004, he held senior management positions at middleware provider CANAL+ TECHNOLOGIES and at engineering services provider Altran. Hervé was educated at Rennes University in France where he graduated in computer science.
Benoît Gousset, joint founder and Director Professional Services
IWEDIA Middleware
Benoît is responsible for supervising the ‘on time, on budget’ delivery of IWEDIA Middleware professional services within Customer programmes. Benoît has over 15 years’ project and programme management experience in the field of multimedia software technologies. Before participating in the launch of the IWEDIA venture in 2004, he held senior technical management positions at Teamlog DMS, Teamlog and AGI. Benoît earned an engineering degree in electronics at Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité (a.k.a. Supélec) a graduate school of engineering in Paris, France.
Johary Ratsimbazafy, VP Sales
IWEDIA Middleware
Johary is responsible for defining and executing the IWEDIA Middleware commercial strategy and for the overall management of the business unit’s growth strategy. Johary has over 10 years’ pre-sales and sales experience related to multimedia products in an international environment. Before joining IWEDIA in 2007, he held senior sales positions at Siemens Com, Siemens Mobile and Wavecom. Johary earned an engineering degree in electronics at ESPCI, an engineering school in Paris, France and a Masters degree in telecommunications at ENST, a graduate school of engineering in Paris, France.
Olivier Blin, Chief Financial Officer
IWEDIA Group
Olivier is responsible for financial management within IWEDIA. He has over 12 years’ experience in the accounting and finance fields acquired mostly among CAC 40 French Groups. Before joining IWEDIA at the beginning of 2006, he was financial controller of a French business unit of Schneider Electric. Olivier has a Masters degree in international business administration from the EDHEC business school (Lille - France) and an undergraduate degree in accounting and finance.
